Frequently Asked Questions
--------------------------

Q: How do I put my albums on the World Wide Web?
A: You'll need to have a web host. There are many free ones available
on the Internet, or you can contact your ISP for more information.

Q: What files do I need to put on my website?
A: Web Album Generator creates a folder containing your album. All the
files within this folder need to be uploaded. (This typically
consists of one or more "index.html" files, a "photos" directory,
   and a stylesheet, "main.css"

Q: Can I put my photo albums on a CD-R or CD-RW?
A: Yes! Your album will be viewable directly off the CD as long as
the viewer has a web browser installed.

Q: Why should I use Web Album Generator over competing products?
A: Glad you asked! Firstly, it's free. Secondly, the quality of the
generated albums is extremely high. They are generated as valid
XHTML documents, which means anyone using any browser will be able
to view them. Most album generators out there only work in Internet
Explorer. Lastly, I think Web Album Generator is the easiest to use,
most friendly generator out there. But you can be the judge of that.

Q: What does it mean to 'preserve aspect the ratio' of an image?
A: Web Album Generator lets you resize your photographs to fit on
standard monitor sizes. You can set the desired size of the photographs.
If you don't preserve the aspect ratio, your photographs may appear
'stretched' or 'squished' to fit inside the size you specified.

Q: How can I contact you?
A: Send an email to mark@ornj.net

Q: I'm getting an error message when I try to generate my web album.
A: Some versions of Windows will not let you save documents in
certain directories. This will generate an error message. Try
   selecting a different output directory.

Q: What are the .css files that Web Album Generator creates?
A: .css files are Cascading Stylesheets. They control the appearance
   of your web album.

Q: Can I removed the "Created with Web Album Generator" notice from
   the bottom of each page?
A: No. This message may not be removed or obscured as per the licence
   agreement.

Q: I have a suggestion for Web Album Generator.
A: I'd love to hear it! Feel free to email me at mark@ornj.net

Q: My question isn't on this FAQ.
